A great start to March saw us score a late winner away to Selsey on Saturday. After Oli Thompson and Athan Smith-Joseph put us two goals ahead, Selsey hit back with a quick-fire double to draw level. But in the dying moments, Javeon Dyer forced an error at the back and claimed us three valuable points on the road.
Godalming Great
Godalming comes into this tie as well on the back of a good victory., a 3-0 home win over Montpelier Villa. Only losing once since their Boxing Day win over fellow Surrey Side Dorking Wanderers B. Their loss came to rejuvenated Billingshurst side at the back end of February.
Winning seven, drawing two and losing one is good form for Godalming Town, especially with their ten games before Boxing Day, they only picked up 14 out of 30 points. In that run, we visited the Billy Kyte Stadium and won 3-1, they did however pick up six of those points away to fellow play-off chasers Selsey and Arundel.
The danger man for Godlaming appears to be Sam Boultwood who has nine goals this season, closely followed by Jason Cotton who has eight goals. Epsom also has two players on eight goals this season with Athan Smith-Joseph and Jaevon Dyer both picking up their latest goals on Saturday in a vital win.
Epsom Update
We again have new faces joining the squad with Theo Lukyamuzi joining and coming on against Selsey on Saturday.
We still have a few injuries in the squad but everyone else is fit and available.
