Three wins and two defeats in February for Epsom have put us back in 2nd behind league leaders Shoreham. Scoring ten goals in that time, a mixture of strikers has helped us finally find the back on the net with us last not scoring in a game coming back at the start of January when we lost 1-0 to Dorking at Meadowbank.
Selsey
Selsey have seen their smooth start to the season become a rollercoaster of results. They won seven of their first ten games. In their last ten games, they have just won three, drew three and lost four. In those games, they have dropped ten points against fellow promotion hopefuls and suffered defeats to teams looking for survival.
However, they have only failed to score in three games in the league all season, scoring 38 goals. Their main threat, Shane Brazil is currently the eighth-highest-scoring in league with ten goals so far.
Although they have had some ups and downs this season, they had a massive performance last Saturday when they beat the only side unbeaten in the league, Shoreham, 2-1 at Middle Road. With play-off places getting tighter, this is a massive game for both clubs.
Team Update
We updated everyone on Wednesday that our manager, Anthony Jupp has stepped down from his position as manager to take up a role as Director of Football due to work and family commitments.
We also saw Jaan Stanley return from being recalled by Raynes Park Vale to help us beat fellow Surrey club Dorking Wanderers B in our last outing.
