We look to extend our winning run this Saturday as we welcome East Preston to Fetcham Grove.
Scoring seven goals in our last two outings, our front line looked to have found their shooting boots in 2023, as we only scored two goals between Christmas Day and our win away at Hailsham Town on February 11th.
East Preston also looks to have found winning form in 2023, winning their last three games. Two at home to Seaford and Worthing United and a 2-0 away win at Hailsham Town. Before these wins, East Preston hadn’t won in the league since 27th September when they defeated Billingshurst 2-0 at Jubilee Fields.
The Turn Around
Much of East Preston’s mid-season revival could be due to the new man in the dugout, Jamie Poole. Since Jamie has taken the reigns, he has seen his side pick up ten points from a possible 22. Winning three games, drawing one and losing three.
Each game they have lost has been tight, with only one of the games being by more than 1 goal, which came on December 27th when they visited Wick. Apart from that, they have seen games be very close, including a 1-1 draw against Arundel.
Their top goalscorer this season is Sean Cully who has scored eight goals in twelve appearances.

Last Time We Met
We have only met East Preston once before, which happened at The Lashmar in October. We ran out 3-1 winners on the day with goals from Ryan Smith, Athan Smith-Joseph and Jaevon Dyer.
